Ultimate Towner
This community give back event is designed to inspire people to overcome obstacles and come together as a community to celebrate life. The 2023 Ultimate Towner is extra special as it’s our 10 year anniversary for the event!
Originally an around the town obstacle course race, the Towner experience has evolved into an Amazing Race design which combines obstacle course features with Amazing Race challenges all located within one square mile of the Jackson, WY town square. Participants have 2-hours to complete as many challenges as they choose, starting and finishing at Phil Baux Park in downtown Jackson.
An Amazing Race!!
The Ultimate Towner is designed for people of all ages and abilities. Whether couples, families, friends or co-workers, the Towner provides a great opportunity to connect, have a great time, and even learn something in the process. You can choose to complete the course competitively or just for fun! Fun obstacles and sponsored checkpoint challenges include everything from our classic “Sand Pit Sammy” obstacle to our Häagen Dazs ice cream challenge and the enduring Love Life Wall. Over 50 challenges are included the Amazing Race!
The Amazing Race format allows participants to choose the course and travel to checkpoints on a foot, bikes or non-motorized vehicles. The types of challenges are much more eclectic than the standard walls to climb over – teams need to think, be creative and work together to be successful. This experiential challenge is designed to promote teamwork and creates a shared bond through a unique shared experience. What’s more, you’ll end up with with photos and videos of your experience that capture the best moments!
The Ultimate Towner is produced by Grand Dynamics, a 25-year Jackson, WY-based experiential training and development company specializing in team and leadership programming. Grand Dynamics produces Amazing Race events all over the country, including our downtown event in Jackson Hole for visiting groups. Grand Dynamics develops inspirational, world-class leaders and high performance teams through immersive training and development experiences.
2023 Event Beneficiary - Community Entry Services of Jackson
One of the core values of Grand Dynamics is to make the world a better place and to give back to our community. Each year a different non-profit organization is chosen as the event beneficiary of the Ultimate Towner and receives marketing and brand recognition, along with a donation from the event. This year’s event beneficiary is Community Entry Services of Jackson (https://www.ces-usa.com/jackson) (CES Jackson). CES Jackson has provided support for people with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries since 1980. Their goal is to provide programming, resources, and services to help these individuals make their own life choices while being valued, respected, contributing members of their community.
