Jackson Town Council approves new Grand Dynamics Special Event; The Jackson Hole Scavenger Hunt – Grand Opening June 8th – 9th

On Monday, March 18th, 2019, the Jackson Town Council approved the Jackson Hole (JH) Scavenger Hunt, an experience aimed at showcasing a new way to experience Jackson Hole. This interactive game promises to be educational, fun and rewarding for the local Jackson community and visitors alike.
The Grand Opening Special Event is open to the public and will take place over the weekend of June 8th-9th with two start times; 10 AM and 3 PM each day at Phil Baux Park. Following the Grand Opening, the JH Scavenger Hunt will be available on demand to the public and can also be arranged for private events.
The non-profit beneficiary for the event is Teton County Search and Rescue.
The event uses a smartphone app which integrates maps, photos, videos, digital stickers, multiple choice and QR codes. In small teams, participants use the app to locate and complete a variety of checkpoints along with “on the go” challenges completed anywhere on the course. Teams may travel via foot, bike or vehicle.
Rewards in the form of coupons or prizes are offered by local businesses when participants complete various checkpoints. A business may offer a reward or apply to be included as a course checkpoint where participants will complete a fun and educational challenge.
Grand Dynamics is now in the active design phase of the course and is seeking ideas and engagement from individuals and the business community. Interested businesses may submit their idea for a JH Scavenger Hunt checkpoint or reward to get involved:
