His eclectic oceanic adventures include open water swims from Alcatraz and across the lakes of Grand Teton National Park in Jackson Hole, abalone diving in the Pacific Northwest, free diving descents and blue water hunting around the globe and cold immersions in Iceland and in the surrounding Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.

Witnessed, and escaped, the Thailand Tsunami in 2004 while on a rock-climbing trip. Created relief efforts for orphaned children subsequently.

PICNIC 17:30

Enjoy this video of Tim Walther along with the original team of “Picnicers.” The Picnic a.k.a. the Grand Teton Triathlon involves biking from Jackson to Jenny Lake in Grand Teton National Park, swimming across the lake, solo-climbing the Grand Teton and then doing the whole thing in reverse. 42 miles of biking, 2.6 miles of cold open water swimming, 20 miles on foot and 7,533 feet gained and lost. Not your average picnic.

AROUND THE HOLE 4:16

In August 2016 Tim Walther and Marshall White realized a dream of completing a human powered circumnavigation of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Modes of travel included: Mountain “swifting”, overland navigation, mountain biking, lake kayaking, open water swimming and stand-up river boarding. The new multi-sport route was completed over six days and encompassed 200 + miles of travel and 25,000 feet in elevation gain.

Conducted dozens of corporate fundraising and give back events including the 3 Peaks Challenge for multiple organizations in need, a Sport and Education Fund for Thai Orphans, Habitat for Humanity house-build events, Build a Bike for Kids, Hands of Gratitude donating prosthetic hands 

Created the annual Ultimate Towner Community Obstacle Course – 8 year annual Jackson Community event which supported 8 different annual Jackson Nonprofits.
