Have You Unleashed The Power Within Today?

Hello All,

This is Mr. Will Leggett and the Reubenator reporting to you LIVE FROM NEW YORK AND ITS FRIDAY AFTERNOON! Man on man, do we have a lot of powerful things to share with you. To begin with, how many of you have heard of a man named Tony Robbin say “I”. Well Tony Robbins has changed our lives for the better! Tim has always raved about Tony and now I see why. Actually, Tony is the man who we need to give credit to for a lot of the inspiring tools that we teach to all of you during our seminars and company retreats. Talk about a sense of empowerment, WOW, he has totally made us change our way of looking at ourselves as well as the world around us. The difference between Tony and GDI is that we use the models methods and tools to inspire teams and organizations and Tony does it more on the individual level. We also add our excitement and passion of the outdoors and adventure to teach our groups through experiential learning. Our classroom is the natural environment which I have found helps break down the hierarchy within the business and brings most groups down to an equal playing ground. That being said let me tell you a little bit more about the conference.

Last week the Reubenator and I went to a 4 day seminar called “Unleash the Power Within” It started on a Thursday afternoon and went through Sunday night. Within those 4 days we totaled over 50 hours of engaged learning. Some of the biggest take-aways were:

1.) Keeping the group engaged through active participation. What I mean by this is that Tony would start a sentence and then have the group finish it for him. He would also have us continuously pumping our fists when yelling something which created a motion to anchor in our response.

2.) The Power of music. Music from my opinion is one of the biggest commonalities that we can share with our fellow mankind. Even if we cannot communicate through the same language the rhythm of music creates this bond between one another. Also the tone and volume at which the music is played changed my emotions dramatically. At one point I would be jumping up and down celebrating uncontrollably and having the time of my life and the next I would be crying like a baby boy. WOW, INCREDIBLE!

3.) The mind is the most powerful tool of the human body and a belief system controls our daily lives. Every emotion, thought and feeling comes from the brain and if you can change your thought process (which can be very difficult) it will dramatically change your state. If you continuously tell yourself that you cannot do something, guess what you won’t be able to do it. However, if you tell yourself over and over again that it is possible well then anything is possible. To give you an example: I recently changed my belief system (BS) that I need to get a minimum of 8 hours to function in my everyday life to only needing 6 hours. After this seminar which has almost been a week I have already noticed that I now wake up refreshed and ready to go with only 6 hours of sleep. And all I had to do was believe that it is possible.

Throughout our experience we were coached on new ways to change our lives to be more successful in our finances, our health, our friendship and I can’t believe how powerful this really is. The most beneficial experience came from the last day which we were informed about how we can improve our health. Some of the things I learned were:

1.) You should be drinking half your body weight in ounces of water. So if you weight 200 lbs you should be drinking 100 OZ of water daily. The human body is 70% water and the majority of the human population are constantly dehydrated. One of the simplest ways to know if you are dehydrated is if your pee  is yellow you are dehydrated, it should be clear.

2.) You should be eating 3 meals a day with 2 snacks between the meals. Basically, you should be eating something every 3 hours so that you metabolism is constantly working. This will help you to burn fat at all times.

3.) When trying to lose weight you should be working out anaerobically. So this means that you shouldn’t go sprint up hills until you lungs bleed. You should be walking at a pace in which you can carry on a conversation. This will allow you to burn fat vs sugar. If you sprint up the hills you will be burning sugar and therefor you will get the inevitable sugar crash were you feel like you cannot go any further; completely out of energy.

I could go on and on about all the things that I learned in this eye opening seminar but I will leave you with this one last process we went through. So what I need you to do is STAND UP, and read the following out loud.

“I AM A LEADER, Now I am the voice! I will lead not follow, I will believe not doubt,I will create not destroy, I am a force for good, I am a leader! Defy the odds! Set a new standard! Step up! Step up! Step up! Now I am the voice!”
